Getting Here

Noxontown Pond is located next to St. Andrews School in Middletown, Delaware.  Racing and other regatta events will occur at Rodney Point, which is across from the St. Andrew’s School campus. No campus access is required during the event.

In 2023, Silver Lake Road will be closed! Make sure your GPS is not taking you on this road.

From New York City:

Take the NJ Turnpike to the end and continue on through the Delaware Memorial Bridge toll booths. Pick up I-95 South (toward Baltimore) and go 6.2 miles. Exit at 4-A (sign to Christiana Mall) and follow signs to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1 going over the bridge with the yellow arches and continue through the tolls. Remain on Route 1 South to Exit 136 Route 299 (Middletown/Odessa Exit). Take a right onto Rte. 299 towards Middletown. After 3 miles, turn left at the light onto Silver Lake Road. Proceed until it ends at Noxontown Road. Turn left going past the St. Andrew’s School entrance, cross bridge over Noxontown Pond and turn right into gated regatta site.

From Washington, DC:

Go east on Rt. 50 over the Bay Bridge until it intersects with Rt. 301. (Middletown is approximately 1 hour from the Bay Bridge). Continue on 301 North into Delaware. One half mile past 301 Hess Truck Stop you will come to a traffic light; turn right at the light onto Rt. 299. At the light in the center of town (bank on the left), turn right onto Rt. 71. Continue for 1.3 miles (past the Middletown Middle School, past Old St. Anne’s Church) until you come to Noxontown Road (Rd. 38) on your left. Turn left. Go past St. Andrew’s main entrance (0.8 miles and marked by stone pillars on your right), cross bridge over Noxontown Pond and turn right into gated area.

From Philadelphia:

Take I-95 South into Delaware. Exit at 4-A (sign to Christiana Mall) and follow signs to Route 1 South towards Dover. Stay on Route 1 going over the bridge with the yellow arches and continue through the tolls. Remain on Route 1 South to Exit 136 Route 299 (Middletown/Odessa Exit). From Baltimore:

Take I-95 to Delaware state line. About 1 mile after toll booth, exit onto Rt. 896 South; continue on Route 896 for 10 miles to a traffic light where the road becomes Rt. 301/71. (Do not turn left where sign points 896 to Rt. 13.) Continue for 3 miles to a traffic light (immediately after NuCar-Chevrolet); bear to the left across railroad tracks until you reach the second traffic light in center of town. (A bank is on your right.) Continue straight on Rt. 71 for 1.3 miles (past Middletown Middle School, past Old St. Anne’s Church) until you come to Noxontown Road (Rd. 38) on your left. Turn left. Go past St. Andrew’s main entrance (0.8 miles and marked by stone pillars on your right), cross bridge over Noxontown Pond and turn right into gated area.
